What to do before you launch

- 3Find an approved FOODSAFE Level 1 course or recognized equivalent through the provincial food safety courses resource.
- 4Complete the required course and assessment; keep your certificate for your health authority application.
- 5Check the current certificate validity and renewal rules with your provider or health authority.
- 6FOODSAFE certification does not replace a food premises permit, sanitation plan or food safety plan.
